the google world
I find it amazing the things you can find on google! Honestly my roommate Greta and I were saying names of "people" we know at BYU-Idaho and looking them up online. I am scared what people find on me when they actually find all the different article on me.... there's a lot, CREATIVITY IS NEEDED! I looked my sister jessica up on google( editors error... I was on YAHOO images) and then went images to see if I could find some soccer pictures and instead I find me, at her wedding!

Out of my element
I can already tell Summer semester is going to be a little more complicated then I am going to want. This might make a few happy and a few upset but I don't really want to deal with the opposite sex this semester. BYU-Idaho is different then what I thought it would be, I am just another pea in a pod. Sometimes I miss good ol' Eureka where I was a leader, a stand out, and everyone seemed to know me as a "mormon girl". I fit in, but I strive to stand out and be unique.
Today I had my first day at the livestock where I met the horse I will be riding. She is a beautiful mare with creme hair. Golden Hans and I became friends instantly... after bridling her , combing and picking her clean we brought the horses into the arena. I was able to see how she interacts with over ten other horses when we let the horses loose and all us students went and stood behind behind a 5 1/2 ft. wall. Golden is older and so she can't keep up with the others ones but I bet when she was young she was a beauty to all the Stallions. I felt bad for her though because she wanted to be there with everyone- I guess watching the horses made me evaluate how I am in my own life. Am I ok to be on the outside and not apart of the group, do I badly want to be with the crowd even if they bite and buck me, or can I be a leader with a little "l".
Well I miss having my place in a crowd. I miss my friends and the way I was able to associate with them. Maybe in time I will create friendships where I can lean on others for support. Greta, my roommate is a good start. I hope people enjoy my blog. I accept being a blue personality where I need people to love me!!!!!
Have a great day.

round three?
I love being on my third semester of BYU-I. Crazy to think that all my Fall 2007 friends have returned and I still have my Winter friends. Everyone claims I am Miss. Popular, but it is actually pretty overwhelming. I walk around campus and people grab me, yell my name, and they each expect me to know their names lol. Today was the first day of the summer semester. I have Greta as my roommate (fall semester roomie), a brazilian, and a senior. This is going to get interesting especially because I am begining to become my old self.
I have two classes each day, I hate it because on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I am out by 10AM!!!! LAME. I enjoyed meeting up with old friends and new ones today. I have a confession for anyone reading this blog. I currently have a slight crush. He is a RM. I sincerely claim he wont go anywhere because he doesn't want a relationship and I don't think I am mature enough to handle one.... especially one that involves this young man. He is way over me in looks and we are opposites in personality. He lives on the edge and I want to know how to stay away, that little bugger. He is a good guy, but I don't think we could come out alive. Names are dangerous so I will give you a description. He has dark hair, brown eyes, chapped nose and lips (we worked on a ranch over spring break together). He is 6'3'' hahah yeah I know funny! Oh and did I mention he has a dark tan? Anyways that's all anyone will know because it is nothing. moving on....
Tomorrow I have two classes and devotional. Social problems is my 9am class and then I have a 3:15 class called interpersonal communications. And no I will not pay anyone a hundred dollars a lesson to teach me how to communicate. This is a class, I need it, and I am convinced I will have a boyfriend after taking it. HAHAH! Yeah anyhow that is me in a nutshell at the moment. My new FHE brothers call me "big beare". I wasn't for "cuddles" as Joe tried to call me... HAHA no, I think not. Well love you all and keep in touch.

Needing an update?
So I don't know what to necessarily write about. My new favorite song is Hey Brittany- totally depicts my life. Or California Girls (beach boys!). I look a lot different then I did when I was back in Eureka during high school. I go about four days out of the week with a poof in my hair for my bangs which love to be static out here in IDAHO. I wear make up most days, not a lot but it should be interesting to see how people react when I go back. People from last semester sometimes mention that I look different, even my roommate Danna comments on how I look. I am learning to keep myself up and going I guess. Next semester my goal is to start working out. Well keep in touch everyone. I don't even know if anyone reads this. I am headed to the galley with Paola! Peace out my California loves! I miss you guys-
Love,
Teddy

Unforgetable times
Last Sunday was a time when the young people of the church showed the world what we stand for. We sent text messaging.... to inform the masses of the passing of our beloved Prophet and friend Gordon B.Hinckley. I personally will never forget the text message I received fro(m Steve at 8:02 Mountain time on Sunday (Jan 27) "President Hinckley just passed away." I was baffled, he was invinsible to say the least. I looked up from my phone and realized I was the one to break the news to the giggly girls in my dorm. We were havnig so much fun making jokes, eating, and trying to say hello to Paola's mother who was on the phone. "Hey girls, hold on I have to tell you something." A momentary silents hushed the girls. "President Hinckley just passed away...." At first they were like "no, really... that's not funny." Then Paola told her mom who lives in Layton,UT. The confirmation came when Claudia (Paola's mom) turned on the t.v. It was true.
Each girl dealt with the news differently. I called my sisters and mother. After about 30mins the girls and I realized we were still incharge of Dorm prayer for Chapman Hall... and tonight the room would be packed if the news was spreading as fast as my 3 or 4 different text messages just to my phone alone in a 20minute time frame. We decided to change the theme of dorm prayer from Families Can Be Together forever to honoring our Beloved Prophet Gordon B Hinckley... or Gordo! As my roommates refer to him as. To say the least President Hinckley is loved and remembered her at BYU-Idaho.
Today was the funeral services for Pres. Hinckley. BYU-Idaho students were seen wearing their modestly plain church dress, mainly black. Our campus has been blessed through the passing of President Hinckley. There has been a humbling and servicable attitude upon campus which has lifted the Ricks Spirit high.
