Random school beginings

So yes we love food and consequently we are on the way to the GALLEY... *creepy music*.
Afterwards our Cheerleader will visit the Loo.
Shannon: took the picture
Kelly, Paula, and myself posing in the snow!
I love BYU- Idaho especially going to classes in the snow because it isn't too cold!
are some more pictures of my crazy dorm sisters and myself...

This is my dorm life before going out for the night!
... and then there are the nights when we get outside because we are bored.

361 rockin' the snow

I have got to say that I love these girls. We are full of laughter and jokes 24/7- no joke... they lack the capabilities of sleep.
The roommates:
Dater: Kelly
Cheerleader: Shannon
Paola: random
Spiritual Werewolf: me
Comedian: Amanda
(She made up all of our names for comdedy auditions)

our butts!(right)

Amanda was just so excited to be going outside after curfew that she attacked Shannon.
I think this is proof that Amanda is the crazy one not me! What does everyone think?

One of my random poses out in the snow after CURFEW!
I am officially a rebel.

the dorm is a storm

The Spirit is actually.... you wont believe TAPE WORMS. It's been confirmed from a Return missionary.
You can contract this worm investation by walking a round bare foot and then the worms will go up your feet.
In Brazli if you want to become the ultimately cleansed missionary you buy 3 gallons of bleach and scrub it all over the "bathtub" floors. (note: I know Brazli doesn't have bathtubs, I am not an idiot!)
When you go on a mission, do random activites. Like strangle oversized cockroaches.
Or see the sights of the Brazlian toliets which are rat invested. Yes the toliets. Nasty!
On a serious note realize that death and blood are common in Brazil. The power of God is with the missionaries, so pray for them and be with them whether it is dealing with the silly stories after like worms and rat neighbors or it is on the serious side with shooting, drug killings- sad beans!

My new life

College classes here at BYU-Idaho began yesterday. I absolutely have enjoyed all of my classes. Only one of my classes so far has me standing friendless out of four which I have attended. I guess I decided to write a little blog blurb because my life has changed drastically in the past two years. My junior year would have ended about two months ago. I was receiving praise for being named on the all- league team, but I was begining to realize high school was nearly over. That's when I decided to make the life change which got me here. I told my parents I needed to improve my grades and the LDS Business College wasn't the college I needed to attend. My parents were a little edgy about this sudden change and the fact that I really didn't know what I wanted other than to get out of Humboldt, go to a University/ JC and to be educated in a church enviroment.... just not LDSBC.

This was also about a month away from when I started the Chamber of Commerce Youth Ambassador program and taking in a girl who changed my career goals. I just love thinking about my Junior year experiences. That's when everything I was geared towards became shifted towards my eternal passion of service.

I love serving more than I ever did soccer or guys :) Now that I have found my place I feel as though I am where I have always been destined to go. Crazy to think that when Ricks college became BYU-I I was in middle school going, what college? Is that important? Little did I know that the OLD Ricks college I would call home only a few short years later. I miss everyone but I have found my place in this little old zion which stays youthful because of the Spirit of Ricks living through all who help maintain the presence of the Holy Ghost. I grow continually and I couldn't have asked for anything more spiritually uplifting.

Well I have a ton of homework so I better get to work. Good news is that, I am ahead in a lot of my classes! I really enjoy studying now but I have to try and keep focused to truely grasp all that I am studying. Comment back, email me.... I want to keep in touch with everyone.

Be safe in whatever place you are. Love you all!

Your little Beare,
Brittney

Our Obituaries

So here they are... we changed a few words when writing them out, but this is the main idea.
My date Brett thought our creative way of asking was fun. I am excited tomorrow is preference!

Danna Phillips, lost her battle to the Galleys on going cookie poisoning. After being the 150th victim in this tragedy at BYUI Danna’s family has offered to have her body donated to science to find the cure for this on going tragedy. Danna was a very mischievous young woman, in here spare time she liked to test all the fire alarms in 361 and create havoc throughout the Galley. There is always a interesting scene when Danna is around that is why being Prom Queen was one of Danna’s most desired experiences. But now that she has passed on, her chance to shine have “passed” her by.

Brittney Beare, was carried away in the arms of the angels late November 1, 2007. She was known to have died of a fatal head injuries while working at McDonalds. Some have predicted that her injury was from a lack of qualifications on her height. It seems that as she was turning the corner of the backroom when she was whacked on the head by an unknown “jerk face”. She will never accomplish her dream of asking Brett Hamilton to the preference dance. Her dying wish was to have “ dressed up as an Indian and to go with her cowboy to the dance.”(exact wording)

Lately I have missed the simple things of my life before college. I knew who I like and if they felt the same way in retu rn. Being out her at BYUI I sometimes catch myself being someone other than myself. Does that make sense? I mean I live with 5 other girls, always am around others who have their own ideas of the world and the gospel standards.... My birthday is a prime example!

Anyhow I want to think on a more positive note. I have pretty much moved on from Steve. I mean I am hurt I was wrong about what I felt, but I kow that I have grown and matured from the situation. I am grateful for everyone who gave me advise and never doubted me. I know what I felt but I think I missed understood what the meaning was, until just recently.

I was asked out this week, but we will see where that goes. I also attended Alan's soccer game last night. He is ABSOLUTELY amazing at soccer. He reminds me a lot of myself when playing, which gave me entertainment. He can kick the ball so freakin' far with complete control. I think he and I both are very good at anticpating a move and reading the game. His team lost in the tie breaker shoot out... depressing! And no, Alan was not the one who asked me out. The young man who asked me out is 19 and his name is Nathan.

Well last night danna and I went over to the somerset apartments and dress our outlines in chalk on the basketball courts outside of our FHE guys apartment... we drew an indian girl for me and a prom queen for danna. The we wrote " Will you go 2 Preference?"- then we stuck on the guys door two envelopes; with Jed (danna's date) and Brett Hamilton's (my date) names on them. Inside where both Danna's and my obituaries.... we wanted to go to preference with them so we pretended we died- anyways here are the obituaties;
